East Coast Metal Recyclers started in April of 2001 as a back yard metal recycling operation. Since then we have grown rapidly in the industry to become leaders in metal recycling on the east coast of Australia between Port Macquarie and Byron Bay. We currently operate one yard on the coast being situated in Toormina just outside Coffs Harbour and the second in Grafton and the third in lismore.
We are currently in the process of gearing up to open our fourth yard which will also be situated on the coast in the Kempsey area.
We currently employ more than twenty staff and contractors to help us cope with our large work load, ECMR has a large range of machinery, escavators, trucks and equipment allowing us to handle the largest of jobs down to the smallest of jobs in a professional manner.
We offer free pick up service for most items from cars to farm cleanups to white goods in most areas between Port Macquarie in the south to Byron Bay in the north. We also have a large range of metal recycling skip bins available to our customers for storage and easy removal of their metals at no cost to them. ECMR now also operates as licensed car dismantlers from all their yards and offers the cheapest price on second car parts to all their customers.
